JENNIFER BROWN - Principal and head teacher/choreographer

Jennifer started dancing in 1993 at the age of 6 with the Kim Arlow Dance Academy, taking British Theatre Dance Association examinations in tap, modern jazz, classical ballet and lyrical. She took part in many festivals, workshops and shows including masterclasses with the Scottish Ballet with Wayne Sleep, Summer School at the Royal Ballet London and Easter course at Laine Theatre Arts in London. Jennifer developed a flair for performing and after appearing in several amateur shows such as Oliver, Annie, Honk and Peter Pan she landed her professional debut in theatre with the leading role in Cinderella with the Ulster Theatre Company. Jennifer went on to have a career in acting playing many different characters in Pantomine and had experiences in TV commericals and film, but always had a passion for dance so in 2007 she opened the doors to the Jennifer Marshall School of Dance.

In 2022 Jennifer decided to expand and create an even better studio facility and re-brand as Richhill Dance Studio with a top quality Harlequin sprung dance floor with double floor mounted ballet barres and floor to ceiling wall mirrors.

Jennifer aims to teach all her students the disciplines of a dancer and hopes to inspire lots of young children to experience the joys of performing. She uses her teacher's training, knowledge and experience to teach each learner to suit their individual needs and encourages good sportsmanship and team work.

Jennifer hopes that some children will continue a career in the art form and carry on their dance training through life!!
